Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

Return Window

You may request a return within 7 days from the date of delivery. The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.

Unboxing Video — Important

We strongly encourage all customers to record an unboxing video when receiving their package. This is a standard practice across Indian D2C brands and serves as important evidence in case of:

  • Damaged or defective items
  • Wrong product delivered
  • Missing items from the order

Claims for damaged, defective, or missing items without an unboxing video may not be eligible for a full refund or replacement. The video should clearly show the sealed package, the opening process, and the contents inside.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us at care@theindigofable.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Include photos (and unboxing video, if applicable) of the item.
  3. Our team will review your request within 24–48 hours and provide return shipping instructions.
  4. Pack the item securely and ship it back using the provided label or instructions.

Refund Process

Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking) within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

COD Orders: Refunds for Cash on Delivery orders will be processed via IMPS/UPI bank transfer. You will be asked to provide your bank account details or UPI ID. Refund will be credited within 5–7 business days.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that have been used, washed, or altered
  • Items without original tags and packaging
  • Customised or monogrammed items
  • Items purchased during final sale or clearance events

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or colour, please initiate a return and place a new order.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your unboxing video and photos. We will arrange a free return pickup and send a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.
